Ishmael: First Read in the Old Museum | Digital Stage

A look at the first day of rehearsals for Dead Puppet Society’s much anticipated world premiere production Ishmael at QPAC, which was part of Brisbane Festival 2021. A reimagining of the timeless novel, Moby Dick, Ishmael is set on a futuristic version of earth that has suffered a catastrophic environmental collapse. Artists, creatives and other presenting partners gathered at Brisbane's Old Museum for this day that had been a long time coming.
